[prMac.com] Saint-Petersburg, Russian Federation - Mobbtech today is pleased to introduce InstaRepost 1.0 for iOS, its new photo app that allows users to instantly repost photos without taking a picture of the screen. The Instagram app and other Instagram viewers do not include a provision for sharing the photos of others, because the ownership rights of every photo on Instagram are retained by the poster. InstaRepost enables users to repost photos they have received in their own photo streams, with the consent of the owner, and it superimposes the user name of the owner on the reposted photo.
* Repost any photo you have received in your Instagram feed
* Search your photos and Unfollow, Like, or Repost
* Share photos from others with a third person
* User name is included with each reposted photo
* InstaRepost Featured Photos that may be reposted
Reposting photos, posting Instagram photos that have already been posted, is discouraged. According to Instagram, "Instagram is a great way to share your life through photos, but we have to ask that you don't share photos of someone else's life. Our service is a bit unique because we do not claim ANY ownership over what you post on Instagram. That means you retain the ownership rights to the content you upload. Since users own the rights to the photos they have shared, we ask that that same spirit of copyright ownership is respected by everyone. If you want to express your excitement over a beautiful photo, it's best to double tap on the image to like it!"
This policy makes it difficult for Instagram users to share a photo they have received from a friend with another friend. The only practical workaround, until now, has been to take a picture of the picture displayed onscreen. It then becomes an original photograph that can be easily shared on Instagram.
InstaRepost eliminates all this work and inconvenience, and also preserves the quality of the photo. The app automatically displays the user's Instagram feed, which consists of all the photo streams they receive. Each stream can be opened separately and displayed as thumbnails or scrolling, fullscreen photos. Users of InstaRepost have a choice of three buttons for each photo: Unfollow, Like, or Repost. Tapping the Repost button creates an exact duplicate of the photo, which includes a black title bar on the bottom with the owner's user name supered in white letters. Reposted, the photo is now part of the photo stream being received by the user's Instagram followers.
"How many times have you wanted to share an amazing Instagram photo with someone, but were not able to do it?" asked Dmitriy Zaretskiy of Mobbtech. "Now, InstaRepost makes it easy to share any streamed photo. And Instarepost allows you to discover interesting and popular photos of different categories depending on your interests: anything from Humor to World News."
