[prMac.com] Austin, Texas - Real Software, creator of award-winning object-oriented, cross-platform web and desktop app development tools, today announced the latest version of its flagship product, Real Studio. Real Studio 2012 Release 2 includes more than 100 improvements and 7 new features, with specific focus on web and Cocoa updates.
"This release adds a lot of flexibility to our web platform with the addition of the WebCanvas and the Web Control SDK," stated Geoff Perlman, Real Software Founder and CEO. "Developers are no longer limited to only the controls built into Real Studio. You can create your own controls using the WebCanvas in the same way you can use the control for desktop apps already. And with the Web Control SDK, developers can take just about any existing web control, such as the hundreds that are included with JQuery, and use them with their Real Studio web apps."
"Real Studio has powered my commercial app for BizSyncXL and I am really excited to see all of the additions to web support in this release," commented Gary MacDougall, CEO and Co-Founder of ChannelBrain. "Real Studio has helped us transform our business from a traditional e-commerce hosting company to a software and solutions provider, which "glues" order management systems to e-commerce systems."
Real Studio 2012 Release 2 includes:
* 30+ OS X Cocoa updates
* 20+ Web updates
