[prMac.com] Los Angeles, California - Auryn, Inc., the most award-winning digital publisher of children's storybook apps, celebrates the season by offering the entire line of apps for a discounted rate for the Holiday week. From December 21st-28th, all Auryn and Auracle titles will be just $.99 and $1.99 respectively, including the brand new and Holiday appropriate apps "A Very Mice Christmas". Additionally, Auryn also announces the availability of SantaKid by James Patterson, done in collaboration with Hachette Book Group. More about the latest Holiday titles from Auryn are listed below:
A Very Mice Christmas by Wendy Wax:
A Very Mice Christmas is an adorable book that captures the joys of the holiday season as festive little mice do their Christmas shopping, searching for such items as woolly stockings and shiny ribbons. The app includes some nice features including a memory match game and a photo hunt game (aka spot the difference) where players must find 10 differences between two otherwise similar images that have been altered with photo manipulation. This app contains three photo hunt games. Available on the iTunes store.
SantaKid by James Patterson:
SantaKid is an exciting, new holiday app for 2012 based on the New York Times bestselling picture book from author James Patterson. When Warrie Ransom, the Big Boss of the Exmas Express Company, decides to buy Christmas and rename it Exmas, Santa Claus, Momma Claus, and their daughter Chrissie can't believe their eyes. Everything at the North Pole seems to change overnight--the elves stop making kids' favorite toys, the Christmas doves won't fly or sing, and no one seems to laugh anymore. It looks like Christmas is going to be ruined.
But then Chrissie remembers something she had learned from her dad: you must believe in something bigger than yourself. With a little help from her dad's helpers, Chrissie--as SantaKid--delivers presents to children on Christmas eve, sending Warrie Ransom back to where he came from! After all, when you believe in something, magic can happen. The digital version of SantaKid was just released by the Hachette Book Group and created by Auryn. Auryn added animation, a virtual Christmas tree, and a snowman mini game to the text and illustrations. Available on the iTunes store.
Auryn Titles that are $1.99 for the week include: Auryn Ink, Where Do Balloons Go? by Jamie Lee Curtis, Teddy's Day, Teddy's Night, Van Gogh and the Sunflowers, The Little Mermaid, Bunny Fun: Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes, I, Trixie Who Is Dog, and Trixie and Jinx.
All of the Auracle Titles are $0.99 for the week, including the following best-selling apps: A Very Mice Christmas, The Chalk Box Story, Love You to the Moon & Back, Winter Is, and the entire Miko series.
