[prMac.com] Rennes, France - Indie developer Nicolas Carrel is proud to announce after 6 months of hard work, too much coffee and sleepless nights, PopCalc 1.4 is now released for iPhone and iPad. You may have already noticed that calculators on iPhone and iPad merely copy a 40 year old design and never use the control and simplicity of our new screens. PopCalc was conceived one night when Nicolas was trying to do again the same sum for the 3rd time. He decided to create a touch calculator that would be so simple that it would make classic calculators look as obsolete as old rotary phones.
Here's how people talk about PopCalc (translated from french reviews):
"Finally, a beautiful and efficient calculator - Very intuitive. Impeccable graphics. Ingenious, it is different from all other calculators. To try it is to adopt. "
"Unclassified - Really a handy calculator and like no other. Very intuitive. Congratulations to the creator "
PopCalc allows you to:
* Write your calculations in a natural way
* See your recent calculations all at the same time
* Call back a value with a simple tap on it
* Edit your calculations, correct them, link them, delete them
* Share your calculations with your friends
You control PopCalc with all the multi touch gesture you are used to on your iDevice. For example, if you want to see all your previous calculations, just drag down the list. Want to edit a calculation? Just long press your finger to call the magnifying glass tool.
