[prMac.com] Riga, Latvia - Posing App 3.0 celebrates its 1st anniversary and 30,000 downloads on the App Store with a giveaway. For two days starting from March 10th, it will be available for Free on the App Store.
Posing App is a "cheat sheet" for photographers and models with many illustrations as samples and inspiration for posing. Since launch a year ago, Posing App has received raving reviews from photographers all over the world. Many pro photographers use such a technique during photo shoots and admit that this handy reference guide has significantly improved their people photography skills.
There are several posing applications on the market, however Posing App is different. What you see in other posing references are real photos. In Posing App, however, all poses are presented as simple hand drawn illustrations. This makes a huge difference! Using somebody else's photo as a sample is just awkward, because you will never reproduce the same pose and you will never look the same as the other person. In contrast, illustrations are only body outlines, so it's very simple for a model to understand and recreate the pose. Illustrations aren't so restrictive either, together with a model you can be creative and come up with different variants on your own. Initial pose works simply as guidance for something to start with.
Posing App includes posing samples in different categories: Children, Couples, Portraits, Women, Men, Groups and Weddings. Additionally Glamour category is available as in-app purchase. In total 300 carefully selected poses are presented. Each pose comes with additional tips and comments and can be added to favorites for easy access later.
If you feel like posing is an area you are willing to improve in your photos, Posing App is the perfect starting point.

* Lifesaver-awesome app! by Derail6782
"Posing is one of the aspects of photography that I struggle most with. I've written down poses and printed out photos for ideas and reference but still seem to forget them or have trouble conveying to my subjects how to look. When I found this it was like a godsend."
* Wow by Atansa
"I have been seeking the minimalist explanation to every pose and tip known in the camera industry and this is it. The drawings make it so there are no actual picture distractions while giving the freedom to draw extra notation on the body itself."
