[prMac.com] Dallas, Texas - MochaWorks LLC today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of medNotes 1.0.1 for the iPhone. medNotes is a note taking app that is focused on making medical professionals more productive in their day to day tasks. It features a way to quickly read and create notes, add in large medical terms with the use of a built-in medical dictionary, create reminders within notes, and much more. It also features a way to easily share notes with colleagues using a peer-to-peer connection, so that notes aren't lost in the shuffle.
The app is offerred for free with two available in-app purchases to expand its functionality. One is a medical dictionary with over 96,000 terms that will allow the user to tap large medical terms by simply typing the first few letters of it. The other is an ICD-9 code database that lets the user look up codes and insert them into notes.
Unlike loose paper notes which can be lost in white coats and scrub tops, medNotes can be categorized and organized in a number of ways. Each note can belong to a patient so that searching by patients is fast. Notes can further be tagged to an unlimited number of tags (marked with #) in-line with the note text.
