[prMac.com] Warsaw, Poland - twomstudio today is pleased to announce Amaz!ng Cars 1.1.2 Free, an update to its successful education app, where kids 2-6 can learn about eight different types of cars and trucks. In a world of "kid friendly" apps, Amaz!ng Cars goes a step further, capturing the wonder and enthusiasm of an actual kid at play. Featuring the extraordinary voice of a young male narrator, it is easy to imagine him as an energetic young boy living in Iowa, earnestly inviting kids to join him in fun, discovery, and learning. The freemium-style app includes all the narration, graphics, sound effects, and music of the paid app, allowing users to unlock the Coloring Book, Jigsaw Puzzles, and Studying the Alphabet features individually as an in-app purchases, or combined in a single app from the App Store.

Amaz!ng Cars succeeds so admirably as a complete, playtime experience because it has been carefully crafted to emulate the genuine experience. Captured is the multi-sensory, unlimited activity of playing with real toy cars and trucks or seeing the actual vehicles on the street. The app lets kids see cars and trucks in action, move them, and hear what they sound like. Three "invisible" design features, in particular, contribute to the popularity of Amaz!ng Cars among kids: 3-layer, panoramic graphics & animation; authentic sound and visual effects; and pitch-perfect narration that guides users at every step.
The app's 3-layer, panoramic graphics & animation scroll horizontally from page to page without any break in the scene. So, while there are 10 detented pages, they are continuous and part of an unbroken panorama. Depth is enhanced by the movement of the foreground, which scrolls faster than the midground, which scrolls faster than the background.
Waiting at a suburban bus stop are a young boy and girl with their mother. This opening scene brings the child into the imaginary world of the app, and sets up the arrival of the first vehicle, a bus. In all, kids see and hear eight different cars and trucks, including a: bus, police car, garbage truck, ambulance, cement mixer, fire truck, dump truck, and a sports car. When touched, each vehicle visibly starts up and makes its own characteristic sound.
It is the wonderful narration that makes Amaz!ng Cars a memorable app for kids and parents. The clear, easy to understand, accent-free American speech of this professional voiceover artist is irresistible. Never forced or insincere, he is in natural dialogue with the young user.
"Amaz!ng Cars is a mobile application that is aimed at young children aged between two and six years old," commented Michal Moczynski of twomstudio. "It introduces them to a wide range of different cars, and each vehicle comes with a range of options that allow the child to interact. There are eight vehicles in total, and they are all recognizable in everyday situations. Three optional games are also integrated within the application, with different levels of difficulty."
* iPhone 4/4S/5, iPod touch (4th/5th generation), and iPad
* Requires iOS 4.3 or later
* Universal app optimized for display on all iOS devices
