[prMac.com] Houston, Texas - Transferring photos between iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac is now easier to users. Available today on the App Store, transfr 1.0 allows users to send and receive photos and videos over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. transfr has no size limitation and is the ideal way to transfer photos and videos between devices. From a simple photo to exchange over Bluetooth between two iPhones, to a large album to transfer via Wi-Fi from a Mac to an iPad, transfr can be used anywhere at any time.
The interface is slick and simple. As transfr detects all other available devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth automatically, users can start the transfer with just one tap or click, without the need to enter any supplementary information. Photos are sent in full resolution, are not recompressed during the transfer. All metadata and GPS information are preserved, to satisfy the most advanced users.
"There is a strong demand for photo and video transfer services, from users who are not comfortable using online services whereby photos and videos transit through the cloud, to users who need to transfer large files between devices, and in situations where internet connection is not available." says Objective App founder JP Hribovsek. "Other apps currently available have limitations such as not supporting Bluetooth, limitations on the number of photos or size of videos that can be transferred, requiring users to enter the other devices' IP addresses, or compromising the integrity of the photos during the transfer. transfr is designed to overcome all these limitations, keeping the user's needs in mind, and to deliver a unique experience. To this extent, transfr also provides the users with a built-in functionality to contact Objective App to ask questions and provide feedback".
