[prMac.com] Madrid, Spain - Indie developer Javier Rodriguez is proud to introduce Widgerador 1.0 for OSX. Widgerador helps you create slider-contolled image galleries for smoother image transitions in iBooks Author. You can mix images and photos with different sizes and resolutions, and the App automatically does the resizing for you.
A simple, powerful user interface allows you to create fully-compatible iBooks Author Image Gallery Widgets in three easy steps.
Widgerador uses FreeStruct text file format for saving documents, which makes it possible to use any application, programming or scripting language for new document generation on the fly. Use the "Execute" keyword inside Widgerador documents and the App will load and automatically create the widget based on document contents!
1. Add individual images or drag and drop an image folder (even nested folders.) Modify the order of slides and write a caption for each image.
2. Set the background shadow, adjust the caption text size, color (and shadow color). Preview any adjustment as HTML5, as if you were using the final widget running on iPad.
3. Click the Export button, select a destination folder, type a file name and you're done! Drag your finished file over to your iBooks Author document and it's ready to play.
Widgerador requires OS X 10.6.6 or later, iBooks Author requires OS X 10.7.4 or later. iPad needed for previewing the widget inside an eBook authored with iBooks Author.
Pricing and Availability:
Widgerador 1.0 is $1.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Photography category.
