[prMac.com] London, United Kingdom - Dorada Software today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of the 2.5 update to the popular "RSSRadio" podcasting application. RSSRadio allows users to subscribe, download and listen to podcasts on both the iPhone and iPad.
"RSSRadio and its competitors have brought clear and easy to use Podcast management to iOS where Apples Podcasts app has failed the users, but with the 2.5 update I have acknowledged that just having easy subscribing and downloading means nothing if you can't hear your podcasts clearly. Now more than ever we are listening to our content in a variety of places, from cars, buses and trains to walking along busy streets and it is this problem that 2.5 addresses." says Daniel Broad, owner of Dorada Software. Daniel further explains "Version 2.5 of RSSRadio incorporates a brand new audio player which uses the lowest level iOS audio API's to incorporate digital signal processing technology to give the user a configurable equaliser, compressor limiter, volume booster and best of all a feature called 'silence skip' where all the pauses on spoken word podcasts are seamlessly removed, in testing I have seen up to 10 minutes saved per listening hour**".
RSSRadio 2.5 is available today on the App Store, in both a free and paid version. Both versions have advanced features such as:
* Push notifications for new episodes
* Location based background download and refreshing
* A built in directory containing over 75,000 podcasts
* Multi-device synchronisation through iCloud
* The new DSP audio player
RSSRadio has been available on the App Store for over 2 years and is widely recommended by dar.fm and the popular Lex and Terry podcast amongst others.
