[prMac.com] Palo Alto, California - Indeeo has announced the immediate availability of iDraw 2.3 Public Beta, a preview of the upcoming update to the powerful graphic design and vector illustration application designed specifically for Mac OS X.
iDraw 2.3 features the unique ability to import layered Adobe Photoshop PSD files as editable shapes and effects, effectively converting Photoshop files that use vector shape layers into fully editable iDraw documents. Also new in the 2.3 update are several vibrant new blending modes, ColorSync color management, Smart Image Masking, and a variety of new dimensioning and path editing tools.
"We're offering everyone the opportunity to try out the new features that are coming soon in iDraw 2.3 with a free downloadable public beta and we look forward to receiving feedback and suggestions," said Adrian Diaconu of Indeeo, "The newly added Photoshop compatibility will be a great feature for many designers, allowing them to import design resources from various websites and use iDraw as part of a workflow with other applications."
The 2.3 update also includes a new OpenGL-optimized drawing engine for significantly faster rendering of complex projects. Multi-threaded drawing ensures lag-free scrolling and zooming when working with very large designs.
