[prMac.com] Melbourne, Australia - Australian app developer 'Play and Learn Education' has launched their first educational app for children. The app called 'Superhero Sight Words' is based on Magic Sight Words and will be available from Google Play and Apple iTunes from Monday 16th September.
Superhero Sight Words is an educational app that helps children learn and practice reading the most common sight words in an interactive, fun and exciting new way. Sight words are ones that cannot be easily sounded out and need to be recognised.
"We wanted to develop an app that assists teachers and parents to educate their children about sight words, which are taught in many schools throughout Australia. As a parent myself, I found that there wasn't anything suitable that could help me with my own kids' learning, and so I decided to do something about it," said Anna Occhiuzzi, founder of Play and Learn Education.
"Parents are continually spending money on their children's education and so 'Superhero Sight Words' is a one-off cost including all features, which means there are no extra costs for add-ons or upgrades, and advertising free", Anna continued.
The app has 12 levels and is full of features including:
* Learning the Superhero Sight Words
* Spelling the Superhero Sight Words
* Word find of the Superhero Sight Words
* An interactive fishing game using the Superhero Sight Words
* The app spells and sounds out each word in all 12 levels
* iPhone, iPod touch and iPad
* Requires iOS 6.0 or later
* This app is optimized for iPhone 5
* 2.5 MB
Pricing and Availability:
