[prMac.com] Antwerpen, Belgium - Funky Bots LLC today is delighted to announce the release and immediate availability of Funky Dance, the first iOS dance game for street dance, powered by Extreme Reality's motion sensing technology and made especially for kids. It's time to practice street dance and popping moves with Uncle G, Milo, Nayah and DJ Buda. Players can learn the Fresno, Toprock, Cat Daddy, Shuffle and Two Step, then face off with Super Granny in The Robot Dance Challenge! This revolutionary app promotes fun and fitness for kids of all ages. Players can "feel the beat and dance forever!"
Funky Dance represents a huge step in the field of body motion gaming. Using Extreme Reality motion tracking, players's moves are tracked and scored in real time. No need for expensive peripherals or special consoles. Funky Dance uses the front facing camera in the mobile device to monitor the moves. Kids all over the world can now learn street dance grooves for only $2.99.
This app features cool routines inspired by poppers and lockers, bboys and Funkstyles. Funky Dance is not aerobicise or Zumba. It's fresh Funkstyle; players can practice the moves, then go dance in clubs, on the street or in the kitchen and impress family and friends with newfound swag.
Funky Bots believes that kids can learn how to Feel the Beat by associating musical beats with movement. This is one of the basic principles for understanding music and dance. Babies are born with this skill innately. If they learn to feel the beat, they can dance forever. It is a skill that stays with them their entire lives.
Funky Dance creator Rosa Mei says, "We use the street dance methodology of not teaching to counts (ie. 5, 6, 7, 8) but rather responding to beats in the music. The players actually learn the steps by matching moves to Boom KLAK, BoomBoom KLAK. Plus we added real-time motion tracking game play made especially for iPads and iPhones. Now everybody can play!"
* Cool dances with of funk factor of 10
* Boom KLAK, Boom, Boom, KLAK
* Real-time motion tracking for all the dance moves
* No in-app purchase or subscriptions
* Plus players get new dances each month through Free updates
Funky Dance is the third app in the Funky Bots suite of apps that show kids how to "feel the beat and dance forever." Their first two apps, BoomKLAKers and Funky Bots, were both chosen by Apple as Best New App in 2014
Funky Bots is the brainchild of Belgian Urban Dance Group, Cie 13. Concept and animation by Rosa Mei (US/BE), original music and beats by Ethan Beatz (Congo) and beatboxer Poum Tchak (FR). Funky Bots makes apps inspired by street dancers, martial artists and cirque acrobats.
