Scrambler resides in the menu bar, providing a small icon in the upper-right area of the screen. Version 1.2 was a major update that provided a new, vastly more secure encrypted file format. Version 1.2.2, is a minor bug fix release.

To decrypt, users drag the encrypted file back on Scrambler and type in the same password. Users can also drag folders, or a collection of files and folders, on Scrambler - they will be encrypted into a single encrypted file.
