Magic Town iPad App Updated: Additional Apps From Mindshapes Now Free

Sep 07, 2012 - Mindshapes is celebrating the update of the Magic Town for iPad with a series of promotions. Magic Town is an interactive world based on popular picture books. When children visit the home page, they can “build” their own version of the town by dragging and dropping the characters’ houses on the landscape. Children will enjoy Lingo Zoo, Tap a Tune, Jellytoons Toddler Skills and Jack and the Beanstalk. The app is permanently free, and for a limited time, several Mindshapes apps are free as well.


Mindshapes and BBC Worldwide Partner to Bring Wibbly Pig to Magic Town

Aug 30, 2012 - Mindshapes and BBC Worldwide are teaming up to make Wibbly Pig, the popular children's book and cartoon series, available in Magic Town. Magic Town is an interactive world based on popular stories and well-known characters from children's books and television shows. Wibbly Pig joins a long list of Magic Town residents including Elmer, Little Princess, Winnie the Witch, Little Red Riding Hood, and Aliens Love Underpants.


Magic Town App Debuts On iPad: Summer Reading in Virtual World For Kids

The app has more than fifty stories at launch, with roughly fifteen new titles added each month.


Magic Town Launches: Virtual World Based on Picture Book Characters

Mindshapes Releases Tap-A-Tune App For iPad, iPhone and iPod touch

Dec 22, 2011 - UK based Mindshapes today introduces Tap-A-Tune 1.0, their new children's educational app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Designed for children ages 2 and up, Tap-A-Tune helps improve hand-eye coordination and inspires a child to play music. To play a song, children tap on cute animal characters, each representing a musical note. As they do so, the animals pop up and down on the screen, dancing through the music. To celebrate the launch, Tap-A-Tune is now on sale.
