BookMacster, Synkmark, Markster 2.2 now make bookmarks secure and clean

Jun 01, 2016 - Sheep Systems has published version 2.2 of its bookmarks management applications: BookMacster, Synkmark and Markster. BookMacster can sort, verify, consolidate folders, normalize URLs, and more. Version 2.2 adds three new features for power users to maintain their bookmarks, including Upgrade Insecure Bookmarks, Remove URL Cruft, and Find/Replace Text. Also, this version will be needed for users to continue syncing with Firefox 47, which Mozilla has slated to roll out on June 7.


Three New Ways to Manage Bookmarks on the Mac

Aug 05, 2014 - Macintosh users now have three new ways to manage bookmarks in their web browsers. Sheep Systems has announced three new apps: Smarky, Synkmark and Markster have been spun out of BookMacster, its master bookmarks manager app for the Mac. The three new apps are each focused on a particular use case, giving average users just what they need in a simplified app. All apps are compatible with Apple's iCloud, and correctly push changes to iOS devices when exporting to Safari.


BookMacster in TheMacBundles Bundle - Pushes into iCloud

Dec 02, 2011 - Sheep Systems announced today that BookMacster is one of fourteen apps in TheMacBundles December Bundle. Coincidentally, BookMacster can now push bookmarks into iCloud. Firefox, Google Chrome or other browsers bookmarks can now be synced not only with those of Safari on the Mac, but with Safari on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. BookMacster is the replacement for Sheep Systems' legacy app, Bookdog. Bookdog licensees receive a discount when purchasing a BookMacster license.

Bookdog 5 does del.icio.us, makes Tagging a Snap

Jan 02, 2008 - Sheep Systems announces Bookdog 5. Bookdog allows users to sort, import/export, migrate, verify, find redirects, search, and find duplicates among their bookmark collections. Version 5 adds integration with del.icio.us bookmarks, and a new user interface that makes it a snap to tag and un-tag bookmarks. Also new in Bookdog 5 is support for the new Netscape Navigator.


Bookdog 4.3: First Bookmarks Utility to Manage Shiira 2.x

Bookdog 4.2 Gives Portability to Google(TM) Bookmarks

May 14, 2007 - Sheep Systems announces the release of Bookdog 4.2, adding support for Google(TM) Bookmarks. Although Google Bookmarks provides Windows users with an importer for their Internet Explorer bookmarks, until now Mac users have had to upload theirs one at a time. Bookdog 4.2 provides Google Bookmarks portability to Safari, Firefox, Camino, OmniWeb and Opera bookmarks, plus access to all of Bookdog's management features. A free demo license of Bookdog 4.2 is now available to Mac users.
