[prMac.com] Paris, France - eComposite today is pleased to announce 321Run Free 2.5, an update to their popular fitness app for iPhone 3G/3GS/4 and iPad. 321Run Free is the very first app from eComposite that allows someone to know and record their Heart Rate on the iPhone. Version 2.5 adds compatibility with the retina display of the iPhone 4, as well as multitasking on iPhones with iOS 4. You can now connect and record your Heart Rate using 321Run and the Fisica Key from Wahoo Fitness.
You need an accessory approved by Apple, the Fisica Key from Wahoo Fitness, and a compatible Hear Rate Belt. Then you can read, listen to your heart rate, and record it as well as your speed, elevation, energy consumption etc. The Fisica Key will be soon available from Wahoo Fitness and from our own store for Europe. We are already taking orders for the compatible armband and the compatible heart rate belts.
321Run Free is one of the most successful apps for running and fitness on the AppStore, with over 60,000 downloads to date. Offering run recording but also run programs, 321Run is a one stop elegant solution that also allows you to share your runs on 321Run online.
"We have kept the features and the content that made 321run a success: easy export to other services, such as the excellent trailrunner mac application, export as a file through email, gorgeous trainings taking you from the couch to 5kms, to faster runs and ultimately to a marathon. We have tried to set higher expectations so that our users would find it more interactive, more fun and more engaging. And of course, the online experience is the basis for many new features".
