[prMac.com] Warsaw, Poland - Last week Motivapps released a universal version of Goal-Setting Workshop. The coaching product guides users through the process of setting plans for the next twelve months.
"Most apps in the productivity field deal with goal tracking, while ours is all about goal setting", says Tomasz Kolinko - Motivapps founder, "It helps users brainstorm, narrow down, and decide upon first steps towards accomplishements of things they want to do."
The application, now working both on iPhone and iPad, allows users to share their goal lists with Motivapps. According to the company founder, over fifty percent of users decide to do so, and the feedback gathered this way is used to improve the workshop time and again.
The workshop itself consists of three main sections. First one dealing with personal development goals, second one - physical possessions, and the third one - career and development. Each section consists of three parts: brainstorming, narrowing down the list, and commitment to the goals. At the end of the exercise the user receives a list of nine things that are important to him, along with a plan on how to accomplish them.
"Our app is different because it makes users think. It doesn't just say 'Make a to-do list', it forces them to spend a moment retrospecting and, judging by the initial feedback, this approach works," Kolinko adds.
