[prMac.com] Turku, Finland - Asterope is an independently developed, unique and addictive game experience with an intuitive control scheme for the iPhone(TM) 3G, the original iPhone, and iPod(R) Touch. The game is story driven; your mission is to stop the Androids' invasion of Earth.
The game gives the player a unique gameplay experience by using the touch screen to control the players' spaceship. Asterope contains 10 levels where you unfold the story of how the Androids are coming to invade earth. Asterope also includes three arcade mode levels for quick gaming sessions.
Developed by Niklas Wahrman and originally intended as an entry for the Google Android Challenge, Asterope was not among the Top 50 that were rewarded but it was among the top quarter. Google did not supply the entrance with further feedback after the challenge. The game is now further developed and improved for the iPhone(TM) 3G, the original iPhone, and iPod(R) Touch.
Niklas Wahrman has worked hard on the game on the game and pulled in all favors he could to get top-notch graphics and audio.
