[prMac.com] Mountain View, California - Maplekey Company, LLC today is proud to announce the launch of Picturebook version 1.2, a free educational story-making app for the iPad and iPhone. This app allows kids and parents to create, share, and read illustrated books on both devices.
The Apple App Store has named Picturebook on the "New & Noteworthy" and "What's Hot" charts. To celebrate the launch, add-on illustration sets will be on sale for a limited time.
With this release, Picturebook brings picture book authoring to the iPhone in the same way the previous launch did for the iPad. The new 'toddler lock' feature helps prevent accidental in-app purchases. Being creative in Picturebook is also now available globally in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, and Spanish.
Playing with the iPad or iPhone can also be educational as kids and parents channel their creativity into storytelling with Picturebook. Users can choose from a library of over 130 hand-illustrated pictures. The simple interface makes writing and picture selection a breeze and automatically wraps it up into a beautifully finished book.
The Picturebook app is great for all ages. Kids and adults will have fun making stories for each other while toddlers enjoy laughing at the interactive images.
