Kick Timer for iPhone - Avoid Parking Tickets and More with Free App
October 27, 2011 in Utilities
[prMac.com] Redondo Beach, California - Mobile Slinger, an app development company focusing on simplifying the process of everyday routines, Their new release, Kick Timer 1.1 is a perfect example of Slingers approach to creating efficient solutions for common tasks. This ingenious little reminder app boasts a super clean interface putting 5 important reminder alerts right at your fingertips.
"By utilizing the existing clock/timer already built into the iPhone and iPad, Kick Timer integrates a more efficient interface, which addresses 5 areas of daily life and allows the functionality and user experience to remain intuitive and familiar." Explains Wayne Bradley, Founder of Mobile Slinger. Bradley's IT background led him to start Slinger in 2010. "Before starting Slinger, I was a Systems Analyst, that experience, and my natural inclinations, inspires me to break down a typical processes and simplify it to most basic components. I use this same logic to create visually appealing screens, which are fast and sleek with greater simplicity than apps that are currently available.
"Bradley says, "We like to think of Slinger as a 'Lifestyle Applications Company' to make life easier. I'm actually building these apps to make my own life easier, and then provide them as free tools, so others can share in the benefits. "For example my city has gotten me for three hundred dollars this past year alone in fines, as I got there just a few minutes too late, or forgot to move my car on no parking days," "I was really ticked about it, so that was why I created Kick Timer to stop it from happening to me, and others as well."
Users can set an alert for the parking meter time, plus utilize a slider to adjust additional travel time to get back to the parking spot, so users can arrive early enough to miss getting fined or add to the meter.
Many cities only allow parking on one side of the street on certain days that is for cleaning or snow removal and cars are usually required to vacate by the early morning hours. Kick Timer helps there, too. Along with a day reminder, users can snap a photo of the street No Parking sign and tie it to the alert, so they are also reminded of which street they need to complete the task on.
Kick Time also has reminders to help with Laundry, Trash and Recycling Days to help users avoid forgetting these weekly routines. Gone are the days of laundry theft, having someone remove your cloths before you get back, or waking up hearing the trash truck and rushing frantically to get the garbage cans or recycle bins out to the curb before the trash truck passes leaving you with the awful smells of overflowing trash and bins.
Go live, and let the Kick Timer app remember the mundane but important reminders. Once you have it you wont know what you did without it.
