[prMac.com] Skofja Loka, Slovenia - Independent developer Klemen Kloboves is pleased to announce a free trial of Contrast, an app designed to help users scan documents using a digital camera. You can try Contrast without hassle on the product website, right from your web browser.
From time to time it happens you need to scan a document. It takes a while, and there is not always a scanner at hand when you need one. A simple and convenient alternative is to use a digital camera or a smartphone to take a picture of the document. This works incredibly well and it only takes seconds. The image produced has more than enough detail, and the text is clearly readable. However, the image is often yellowish or grayish, which is a big problem, especially if you want to print it.
Contrast is a Mac app designed to solve this problem. It uses a clever algorithm to enhance images, ensuring a white background and black text. Printing the resulting image requires much less ink and text is easier to read. Contrast is easy to use and requires almost no configuration. It works fast and can process multiple files in one job.
* Mac OS X 10.6.6 or later
* 1.7 MB
Pricing and Availability:
Contrast 1.0 is only $9.99 (USD) and is available worldwide through the Mac App Store in the Utilities category. Review copies are available upon request.
