[prMac.com] Cupertino, California - Tumult Inc. today released Hype 1.5, a major update to its award-winning HTML5 animation builder for Mac OS X. The new version contains over 30 new features, including a refined animation building interface, element grouping, scene zooming, locking and visibility toggles, better Lion support, rulers, guidelines, improved animation pasting, more timing functions such as bouncing, and significant reductions to exported file sizes. It is available today as a free upgrade.
The 1.5 version of Tumult Hype also includes support for exporting content as an iBooks Author widget. This allows textbook publishers to create infographics with breathtaking animations and interactivity.
"Version 1.5 knocks out our top requested features, taking it from a 1.0 to a mature product. Professional designers will be delighted with the new capabilities and control for creating rich HTML5 animations. We're also proud of the numerous bug fixes and performance enhancements," says Jonathan Deutsch, founder of Tumult Inc. He adds, "With Adobe recently dropping support for Mobile Flash, Tumult Hype has become a critical tool to making animated content for smartphones and tablets."
Tumult Hype 1.5 is available on the Mac App Store or the Tumult Store for $49.99 USD to new users or as a free upgrade to existing customers. More product information, a 14-day free trial, and a store link can be found at our product website.
