Vegetable Samurai 3D PRO 1.0 for iOS - Slice Many Veggies in One Stroke
March 22, 2012 in Games
[prMac.com] San Diego, California - Adv Webbing today introduces Vegetable Samurai 3D PRO 1.0 for iOS, their new Samurai action Game where players must use a single stroke of their sword to cut in two multiple vegetables tossed into the air. Featuring three modes of play, Classic, Arcade and Zen, the game demands the hand/eye coordination of a Samurai Sword Master. Vegetable Samurai 3D PRO features ultra-realistic, 3D vegetables, gooey splatter effects, an intelligent level generator, dynamic game physics, high scoring Combos by slashing three or more vegetables with a single sword stroke, and dangerous bombs.
Vegetable Samurai 3D PRO marks a new level of achievement in the simulation of the physics of airborne vegetables. First, each 3D vegetable is rendered with full photo-realism and lighting highlights. Second, vegetables tossed into the air from the bottom of the screen do not simply go up and then down. Rather, they spin, wobble, and rotate while in the air. Third, the effects of Newton's law of universal gravitation are perfectly calculated and executed. Vegetables decelerate until they reach the top of the toss, where they appear momentarily to be hanging in mid-air. Then each begins to drop a distance proportional to the square of the elapsed time - the farther each falls, the faster it goes. Quite impressively, all these computationally intensive simulations are carried out smoothly for multiple objects, as well as the additional objects created when a vegetable is cut into two pieces.
* Realistic 3D models with amazing physics
* Incredible splatter effects
* Multiple game modes: Classic, Arcade and Zen
* Cool audio effects and ambiance
* Customizable sword color
* Intelligent level generator
* Multitouch and multitasking supported
The game offers three different modes of play: Classic, Arcade, and Zen. In Classic mode, players lose one life for each vegetable that falls unscathed, and they lose one life each time they accidentally slash through a tiny airborne bomb that is mixed in with the flying vegetables. In Arcade mode, players have 60 seconds to score the maximum number of points. Inadvertently cutting into a bomb resets the points counter to zero, and the game continues. In Zen mode, players have 90 seconds of pure gameplay, without any bombs or lives.
In all three modes, combos of three or more vegetables in a single stroke score big bonuses. Lucky vegetables carry a 10-point bonus, and other vegetables carry a 10-second extra time bonus. Players may also go into a double points period, where all scoring is doubled for 10 seconds. Bonus vegetables appear only as the result of scoring combos. Finally, in every mode players are free to slash rapidly left and right, resulting in many cuts. But the key to high scores is perfectly timed and executed single slashes that cut through three or more vegetables at a time.
"There is no Samurai action game in the App Store that compares with Vegetable Samurai 3D PRO," stated Luca Casciano of Adv Webbing. "It is the most realistic and challenging game of its kind, created and refined over many months of development."
