New Mega Tic Tac Toe App requires a mega sized brain

[prMac.com] Orlando, Florida - Clever Fox Software have taken the classic Tic Tac Toe and evolved it into a challenging strategy game for iPhone and iPad. Mega Tic Tac Toe keeps the rules and concepts of the classic Tic Tac Toe but compounds the difficulty by placing 9 mini interconnected Tic Tac Toe games within one 'mega board'. The app retains the simplicity of the original in its gameplay but makes it a far more challenging experience overall. The player manages 9 interconnected grids of 9 totaling 81 squares in all.

Mega Tic Tac Toe follows '4 in a Row Online' as the second game in Clever Fox's 'Recess Trilogy'. "We loved playing these games in school recess so when we started to design the games a lot of the visual cues came from that world" said Clever Fox designer Phil Bias. The game and menu designs feature 3D renders of jotters, chalkboards, pencils, doodles and other elements of high school culture. A classic version of Tic Tac Toe is also included for the purists.

There are 3 levels of artificial intelligence included : 'Easy Eric', 'Medium Mary' and 'Hard Harry'. The game is also Game Center enabled allowing users to challenge each other online. Bluetooth, WiFi and Pass and Play options are available for local play.

"The real fun in the game is when you are playing against another human so we are really going to push the Game Center multiplayer option as a key feature" said Clever Fox designer Phil Bias. Their first Recess game '4 in a Row Online' has already amassed close to half a million downloads. In the coming weeks Clever Fox will be featuring 'Mega Tic Tac Toe' in a mobile video marketing campaign. "Our team comes from backgrounds in 3D Animation and Broadcast TV so video is a natural fit for us." said Clever Fox president A J O'Toole. Clever Fox are finishing a 15 second commercial for the game which they will distribute through their advertising partner AdColony.
