Tapose Announces Creativity Contest and Second Week Winner

[prMac.com] Seattle, Washington - Zanther, Inc., creators of the immensely popular iPad application, Tapose, announced the first of four winners of a contest that aims to find the most creative usage of the app's primary feature, Journals. The second week's winner of the $100 iTunes gift card is Sam T. who has been using Tapose's Journals to track fundraising for his trip to Germany for school next year.

Sam uses the Sticky Notes feature to organize who has been gracious enough to give him money. He then catalogs future opportunities to keep focused on upcoming fundraising money to be collected. In addition, Tapose editing tools were used to document the school application process to ensure all payments are made on time. "Sam did and excellent job of formatting his Tapose Journal for increased trip organization. It's just a matter of time before all the money is raised for school tuition & fees in the near future," said Tapose co-founder Ricky Drake.

Tapose received several other creative submissions for how users are using the Journal feature. Users showcased how they are preparing presentation for comparing a book to its movie counterpart, studying for Medical School finals, and creating mock tutorials for iphone applications. Tapose continues to encourage users to showcase their creativity, as well as share different ways to utilize Tapose's unique features. The third winner will be selected on Friday, May 25th.

Tapose saw a tremendous amount of support from the iPad community upon launch, and quickly reached a spot in the top five paid iPad applications. Tapose, which unites content creation with collaboration, attributes its initial success to hitting a sweet spot in the productivity market. The app has been featured by ReadWriteWeb, Gizmodo, and remains one of the highest ranking iPad apps in the App Store's Productivity section.
