Players must stay cool under pressure and rely on a fast, fluid memory. Like many of the best mobile games, Total Recall: A Memory Game is easy to understand but difficult to master. Players will observe and repeat a lighted sequence on their devices' touchscreens. The game's five categories will challenge users to recall increasingly long and fast sequences of numbers, letters, and bubbles. The first set of levels will require players to watch and repeat sequences of numbers on a dial pad. The second set replaces the numbers with letters, and the third set treats players to an even larger touchscreen grid containing the full alphabet. Players who master these trials can move on to the game's most unique puzzles. The fourth set of levels challenges players to remember sequences involving immobile, unlabeled bubbles scattered randomly across the screen. To beat the fifth and final category, players must memorize patterns of fast-floating bubbles labeled with all of the letters of the alphabet.

Total Recall: A Memory Game also builds and adjusts challenges within each category. As users progress through the levels, the example sequences will appear and disappear more quickly, and they will grow longer. Players moving through the levels will have to complete new sequences backwards! Each level builds on the last and prepares players for new puzzles and trials.
