Paprika Recipe Manager 1.6.0 for iPad released

[prMac.com] Los Angeles, California - Hindsight Labs LLC today is proud to announce the release of Paprika Recipe Manager 1.6.0 for iPad. This update includes redesigned high resolution artwork, which adds full retina display support for the new iPad. Also included is enhanced VoiceOver compatibility, and support for 15 different languages, bringing Paprika to a worldwide audience.

Redesigned Artwork:
In addition to creating high resolution artwork for the new iPad's retina display, we also introduced several user interface improvements to make the app more user friendly, and more consistent with the other versions of our app. These tweaks include: relocating the recipe action buttons to the toolbar, consolidating the notes and nutrition editing panels with the directions panel, introducing a more streamlined recipes listing, and improving support for gestures, such the ability to swipe between weeks in the meal planner and pinch to display recipes in a condensed list.

Cooking Tools:
We have added several new tools to the recipe screen to help you cook. You can now tap ingredients to cross them off as you use them, and highlight the current recipe instruction to help keep your place while cooking. You can now also start multiple timers within the app, and we have added a unit converter to help perform simple conversions.

Accessibility:
In order to make sure Paprika is accessible to vision-impaired users, we have gone through the app and made sure every screen is compatible with VoiceOver.

Other Changes:
* Added an alphabetical index bar to the recipes listing
* Added a Top Rated category that sorts your recipes by star rating
* You can now customize the start day of the week in the meal planner
* Bookmarks will now sync via Paprika Cloud Sync
* You can now export your entire recipe collection to HTML or the paprikarecipes format
* Many more small tweaks and bug fixes

Supported Languages:
We have updated Paprika with translations for 15 different languages, so users can now natively run the app in the following languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Portuguese, Swedish.
