Unicorn Rush Leaps Into The App Store

[prMac.com] Surrey, Canada - Mind Juice Media Inc. today is pleased to announce the release of Unicorn Rush 1.0, its new gaming title for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Unicorn Rush is a stunningly beautiful new running game for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad that puts players in the role of a powerful and magical Unicorn.

Players control the Unicorn with simple touch controls to jump across the night sky from one floating island to the next as they try to avoid plummeting into the icy waters below.

As players run through Endless mode or through one of the 12 fixed-length levels, they will collect Unicoins, the game's virtual currency. Unicoins are used to purchase enhancements to the Unicorn's magical powers, and to unlock new characters, music and spells.

Rocks and crystals sometimes appears in the path, and players can choose to either jump over to avoid, or they can shoot magic fireballs to shatter them with a simple touch on the right side of the screen.

Magic mushroom powerups also appear from time to time. Collecting a pink magic mushroom pulls the camera back and allows players to see further ahead for a limited time. The length of time the powerup lasts can be enhanced by purchasing a magic upgrade in the Magic Shop.

Collecting a green magic mushroom activates the Triple Jump enchantment, allowing a player to jump up to three times before touching the ground again.

Players are given the opportunity to complete Quests to increase their score multiplier. A higher score multiplier means that players can easily increase their high scores by replaying all the levels again.

Unicoins can also be used to unlock new Unicorn characters (currently "Quicksilver", "Night Wing" and "Sapphire" with others planned), unlock awesome extra music tracks, as well as other surprises. Players can also earn free Unicoins just by telling their friends about Unicorn Rush on Twitter and Facebook.
