[prMac.com] Pleasantville, New York - Artgig Apps is proud to announce the release of Marble Math Junior 1.1 today, adding multi-user accounts to their popular kids math practice app. Geared for ages 5-8 and based on the Common Core curriculum, Marble Math Junior helps reinforce strategy and problem solving skills as players roll their marble through a math maze. The addition of multi-user accounts allows players to create individual profiles, each with customizable avatars, skills, and game options, and includes a personal game history.
Teachers with Apps says, "Marble Math Junior's problems are suitable for younger kids and runs the gamut of concepts needed to build a strong foundation in math from the early primary grades. In addition, early learners who may not be reading yet can tap on a problem to hear it spoken. We LOVE this feature and so did the younger students that we field-tested this app with. This is one essential app that all early elementary school students should have on their iPads."
The object of Marble Math Junior is to solve a variety of math problems by collecting numbers as a player rolls or drags their marble through a series of mazes. Young mathematicians earn new marbles as they avoid obstacles and collect bonuses while working through the problems. There is no time limit - children can work at their own pace, and if they get an answer wrong, they have the opportunity to see the correct solution and then try again.
"Adding individual user accounts is the one request that kept coming up since the app launched in June," says Artgig President Matthew Kicinski. "Now parents and educators can add as many users as they like on a single device and each child can practice math at their own specific level and save their progress. The update also includes a fun avatar creator that we think kids will love."
