About Objects Adds Intermediate iOS Development Course

[prMac.com] Reston, Virginia - In response to popular demand, About Objects has added a new, 5-day Intermediate iOS Development to its developer training curriculum, which is focused exclusively on the needs of iOS developers. The new course will be offered publicly at About Objects headquarters in Reston, VA beginning in January, 2013.
Dates for the initial public offerings of Intermediate iOS Development are as follows:
* January 26 - February 1, 2013
* February 25 - March 1, 2013
* April 1 - April 5, 2013
In addition, several private, onsite deliveries have already been scheduled in December and January. Pricing for public training has been set at $3,250 USD per attendee, which covers tuition as well as extensive, take-home course materials. Information and pricing for onsite delivery is available on request.

The new course will cover topics of keen interest to iOS developers who already have hands-on experience on the platform, including the following:
* Using Core Data to persist user data
* Networking, iCloud, and RESTful Web Services
* Managing concurrency, including using block literals with Grand Central Dispatch
* Advanced UIKit components and techniques, including Storyboards, Container View Controllers, and Collection Views
* Unit testing and UI Test Automation
* Advanced profiling and debugging techniques
