The New Year's App will spice up the Party

in Entertainment

[prMac.com] Stockholm, Sweden - Today, Apprope is pleased to announce the release of "The New Year's App" for all 2013 parties. The application contains three different social games for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. They are geared mostly toward adult partygoers with a daring side who don't mind a little self-disclosure.

The first game is "Truth or Dare." Apprope has designed this classic game with a little New Year's twist. Players must "spin the champagne bottle" to see who has to answer a personal question or go through with a risky dare. A lot of the content here is specially tailored to fit New Year's Eve, and the dares range from texting to New Year's kissing.

The next game, "Who 2013?", poses hypothetical scenarios, and players must choose who in their group is most likely to do that action. For instance, "Who will be the first to re-read 50 Shades of Grey in 2013?" This game challenges how well players know their friends - and how well they know themselves.

The third and final game is, "I Have Never 2012," causes players to reflect on their guilt and innocence from 2012. This game is about confessions. It offers prompts to draw out admission of our worst - and yet, our best! - personal moments of 2012.

The application's interface is easy to use, with quick navigation between each game simply through tapping on its icon. To move to the next question, players tap on the screen. Each game comes with a slightly different design and color scheme, but the layout is pretty much the same: easy to read, bold font with a minimalist backdrop. Questions and dares can be shared through Facebook or email to get everyone in on the game.

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
* Requires iOS 4.3 or later
* 17.1 MB

Pricing and Availability:
The New Year's App 1.0 is Free and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Entertainment category. Players can pay $2.99 (USD) to unlock more questions and get rid of the advertisements. With its hundreds of different questions, this application can keep parties entertained for hours. The app is available in English, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian.
