Getting fit the old school way - paleo + crossfit app
January 28, 2013 in Health and Fitness
[prMac.com] Atlanta, Georgia - KJM Productions today is pleased to announce that Food RX, their easy-to-use paleo and zone dieting application, has garnered an average user rating of 4.5/5 stars and the submission of an application update. In response to user requests, Food RX added a button that randomly chooses a workout.
The company is currently working on backend database upgrades to allow for fully customizable data entry and storage. Specifically, these improvements will allow users to add customized food items as well as workouts. The current Paleo food database contains over 7000 foods and zone dieter's can effortlessly determine zone blocks for each food item. In the next update, every food item will include detailed nutritional information and more filtering options.
A new update was submitted Saturday that includes the randomized workout feature, a unit converter, backend improvements and a new logo. User feedback continues to influence the addition of features and, in response to a CrossFit gym currently hosting a Paleo challenge, Food RX is adding the ability to track water consumption and keep a detailed weight log - currently users can track their weight by storing their starting, current and goal weight.
Additional upcoming features include multiple goal tracking and visual progress features, such as the ability to track the percentage of paleo foods consumed per day. Moreover, food items will include detailed nutritional information and animated user interaction features allowing for quicker data entry.
