Introducing Word Wheels for iPhone: A two player, turn-based word game
March 18, 2013 in Games
[prMac.com] Atlanta, Georgia - StackTracks, LLC has announced the release and immediate availability of Word Wheels, their latest gaming title for iPhone and iPod touch. Word Wheels is a two player, turn-based word game played through Game Center. Spin, swap, and exchange wheels to spell the best word you can and beat your opponent to 100. Download it for free and challenge your friends anywhere in the world to a fun and exciting match.
All that's required to play is a free Game Center account through Apple. You can play any of your Game Center friends, or create an Auto-Match and have the game find a random opponent for you. Each player takes turns manipulating the wheels and letters to spell words and earn points until someone reaches 100. The match may not end there, though. In Word Wheels, both players get the same number of turns, so reaching 100 first doesn't guarantee a win. If necessary, the match will enter overtime and adopt a do-or-die style of gameplay. It's fun and addicting, and best of all, it's free.
* iPhone or iPod Touch
