[prMac.com] Melbourne, Australia - Melbourne based Six Foot Games has introduced Crossword Scrambles HD for the iPad. Crossword Scrambles HD takes the answer to a crossword puzzle and scrambles it up. The player uses the word list and clues to put the words back in place, coming up with their own solution to the puzzle.
"I've always had crossword puzzle and word search magazines around everywhere I go," said game developer Tracy Dean Blackadder. "We wanted to make a word game that couldn't be played on paper. Something with a bit of a twist that wasn't like every other word game. I love coming up with the games and trivia questions, then playing each one to see how many different ways I can get the high score."
In Crossword Scrambles HD, players use their wits to form the words on the list by freely rearranging scrambled letters on the board. The more words that are crossed, the higher the players' score. Each player can arrive at their own unique solution to restoring the scrambled crossword puzzle.
