[prMac.com] Warsaw, Poland - Digitags today is pleased to introduce iDrumming 3.0 - pro drums set, an update to its free music app for iOS that offers a high quality, low cost, customizable drum set. With 1-14 pads on iPhone/iPod touch, and 1-16 pads on iPad, the app includes 6 categories of percussion samples. iDrumming features very low latency, continuously variable pitch/volume/pan for each sample, 16-bit sampling, multitouch capability, the ability to save custom sets, and 2 different stop modes. Including 11 unlocked samples, an additional 200+ can be auditioned, and they can all be unlocked through an in-app purchase. This update includes the following: improved response time, sequence recorder in full version, customizable number rows and columns, customizable pad color, mixing board channel for each pad, save/load sets and sequences, optional metronome, and Master volume controls for drums, metronome, recorder, and reverb.
iDrumming looks as good as it sounds, with shades of charcoal grey for all the pads, each of which may be customized to appear yellow, orange, red, or green. Heard through good speakers or headphones, the samples are all of excellent quality with an airy, live sound. Each pad is labeled in small, modern letters, and multiple items are numbered, e.g., tom 1, tom 2, tom 3. The app is multi-touch capable, allowing several players to gather around an iPad and make music simultaneously.
* Default setting is 8 pads on iPhone, 12 on iPad
* Very low latency
* More than 200 optional samples to choose from, grouped into 6 categories
* Sequence recorder in full version
* Variable pitch and volume of every sample (useful for tuning toms, etc.)
* Two different stop sample modes
* Continuous mode for loops or rattle samples
* High quality, 16-bit drum samples
* One predefined, default set included
* Allows users to save their own, custom sets
* Multitouch capability
Touching the Pads button greys out the labels on each pad, which are replaced by a large number from 0 - 11 (iPad default). Touching any pad activates a slide transition to display the Sample Properties of the sound assigned to that pad. Controls include: badge, sample volume, sample pitch, assigned sample, stop mode, and change. Badge is the text label that appears on the pad. Sample volume is continuously variable from -40 to +10 db. Sample pitch, invaluable for tuning snares and toms, is continuously variable from 0.5 to 1.5. Beats per minute of the loop can be set to any tempo from 60 to 600 BPM. And stop mode lets users choose from instantaneous, mid-sample stop, or stop when the sample ends. The Change Sample button displays the complete sample library via a slide transition. Users can assign any sample to any pad.
6 Categories of Samples:
* Bass - 13 acoustic, 47 electronic
* Snares - 30 acoustic, 11 electronic, 6 rim shots

Locked samples can be individually auditioned, but full use requires an in-app purchase that unlocks the complete library. In comparison to competitive apps in the App Store, its low-cost purchase price and high-quality features and sound make iDrumming an ideal app for anyone looking for a customizable drum set.
"iDrumming offers all the sounds and features you're looking for in a drum set," commented Pawel Scibek of Digitags. "And the app has been designed for very low latency for highly accurate audio output."
