[prMac.com] Boston, Massachusetts - Noise Industries, developer of visual effects tools for the post-production and broadcast markets, adds Andy Mees free Safe Guides plugin to the FxFactory family of plugins and generators. Designed for use in Final Cut Pro(R), Motion, Premiere Pro(R) and After Effects(R), Safe Guides includes preset guides for 4:3, 14:9 and 16:9 title and action safe areas, an EBU/BBC compliance override and center cross marker. The plugin comes with full custom guide controls, so users can set the safe areas to display according to the specific numbers of a delivery spec.
Two freely adjustable user guides, the option to toggle on or off individual guides and the ability to choose ones own guide colors, plus dim or mask cropped regions makes Safe Guides a must-have plugin for any editors toolbox. Editors can use the "Conform to 16:9" option to force the guides to display within a center cut 16:9 frame if and when working sequence settings are not the correct format. Safe Guides is now available in FxFactory for free.
FxFactory is a revolutionary visual effects architecture powering hundreds of plug-ins for Final Cut Pro, Motion, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
FxFactory uses the graphics card in your system to provide hardware-accelerated previews and rendering. FxFactory is a free app that lets you install and try hundreds of visual effects. Some effects are absolutely free. Others are available in trial mode and may be purchased as needed.
