[] San Francisco, California - Smile, a developer of productivity applications for Mac and iOS, announced a special Back-To-School discount of 50% on its award-winning PDF editing applications, PDFpen for Mac and PDFpen for iPad. The limited-time offer expires September 2, 2013 at midnight Pacific time.

All four of Smile's PDFpen applications have been discounted 50%:

* PDFpen for Mac, a PDF editing tool for adding text, images, and signatures; making corrections; filling out PDF forms; Microsoft Word export; and OCR. (regular price: $59.99, with special 50% discount: $29.99)

* PDFpenPro for Mac, which has all of PDFpen's features, plus the ability to create fillable forms and edit a PDF's table of contents. (regular price: $99.99, with special 50% discount: $49.99)

* PDFpen for iPad, the mobile version of PDFpen that makes it possible to make corrections, fill out forms and sign them, annotate drafts and more. (regular price: $14.99, with the special discount: $6.99)

* PDFpen for iPhone, the iPhone version of PDFpen that ensures powerful PDF editing is always as close as your pocket. (regular price: $4.99, with the special discount: $1.99)

Fully-functional demo versions PDFpen for Mac and PDFpenPro for Mac are available on the Smile website. The latest versions of PDFpen and PDFpenPro require OS X 10.7 (Lion). iCloud storage requires the Mac App Store version.

The Back-To-School discount on the Mac versions is available on both Smile's store and the Mac App Store. PDFpen for iPad and PDFpen for iPhone are available on the iTunes App Store and require an iPad or iPhone running iOS 5. The discount expires at midnight Pacific time, Monday, September 2, 2013.
