Horizon 3.0 update for iOS - Freemium update

[prMac.com] Thessaloniki, Greece - Available today on the App Store, the third version of the award winning Horizon iOS app which lets users record horizontal videos and photos regardless of the device's orientation. Horizon is now a freemium application, allowing new users to download the app for free. Users will be able to shoot videos with unlimited duration, take photos, use filters and share their moments to their favorite social networks without any cost.

Horizon was initially released on the App Store on January 14, 2014, becoming an instant hit with its support for horizontal video recording at 1080p. Horizon was also released on Android as a freemium app in Google Play and the Amazon Appstore in September 17th of 2014.

Horizon 3.0 for iOS changes the pricing model of the app from premium to freemium.

New users will be able to record videos of unlimited duration up to 1080p resolution and also take full resolution photos or even photos while recording. Those photos and videos will include a Horizon watermark on the bottom right corner. Free users will also be able to select between the eight real time filters and share their creations from Horizon to their social networks such as Instagram, Facebook or Twitter! Users will have the option to unlock Horizon Premium mode as a $1.99 in-app purchase which includes the following:

* Watermark removal
* Access to 2K/Crisp resolutions, 60 and 120 (slow motion) FPS recording
* HDR photo support
* Priority support
* Access to future premium features

For existing users who have purchased the app in the past, Horizon Premium will be unlocked forever by default as a thank you gift. Also, for users who just want to capture videos & photos without the watermark, they can purchase the $0.99 watermark removal in-app purchase right from the Settings of Horizon. The new update also brings improvements in the photo capturing capabilities of Horizon that include:
