During the event, the TalkToChef team, featuring two chefs-ambassadors, will give a live demo of their service and will launch the new Android app.
Using two-way streaming video technology, TalkToChef allows instant communication in real time without interrupting the cooking process, which can best be described as "Uber for culinary advice". TalkToChef features more than 2,000 chefs from different countries and is aimed to increase their presence worldwide. On April 20, Start-Up Chile announced TalkToChef as one of 90 global startups to participate in the entrepreneurial program of the Chile's government. Apart from the grant of 20 million pesos, (about $35,000 USD), TalkToChef will get access to the biggest startup community in the world to accelerate their business.
