Essay Starter is an innovative iPad app that allows a user to open up a split screen between a worksheet (where one can edit/type text) and a PDF. Essay Starter is ideal for want to take notes or start a composition/essay and view PDF's all in one screen. What makes this so great is the ability to copy text from one or multiple PDF's onto the worksheet and then have it automatically referenced as a footnote.
