Nov 11, 2009 - Intego today released their important November 11, 2009 Security Memo. Intego has identified this as iPhone/Privacy.A, allowing hackers to connect to any jailbroken iPhone whose owners have not changed the root password. Hackers using this tool will install it on a computer, then let it work. It scans the network accessible to it, and when it finds a jailbroken iPhone, breaks into it, then steals data and records it.

Aug 26, 2009 - Intego today announced that all of its software is fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.6, Snow Leopard, the forthcoming version of Apple's operating system. Intego NetUpdate will allow eligible users to update their software for free; all Intego programs updated for Snow Leopard will be available for download on or before Friday, August 28. Snow Leopard will be released on August 28, and Intego's software is already compatible with the new operating system.
Aug 11, 2009 - Intego today announced that it will be attending Apple Expo Canada, to be held in Toronto, Ontario, on August 21, 2009. Parallel to this will be the Apple Reseller Summit Conference & Expo, and Intego will be attending this event for professionals as well. Jun 05, 2009 - Intego has announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Interlog Informatica S.A. This new distribution agreement will ensure the availability of several of Intego's products to Interlog Informatica customers in Portugal, Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, and Sao Tome and Príncipe. This distribution agreement takes effect immediately and covers a selection of Intego products.
May 18, 2009 - Intego has announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro. Under this agreement, Ingram Micro will sell all of Intego's products to its customers in the United States and Canada. Ingram Micro is the world's largest software distributor to supply retailers and resellers with full line of Intego Mac security software.
May 09, 2009 - Intego has announced the release of VirusBarrier X5 10.5.8, an update to its acclaimed antivirus software that has garnered excellent reviews from the Mac press. This new version offers enhancements to the program's logs, and improves performance for several of the program's functions. VirusBarrier X5 is the only antivirus program that can scan files and applications on the iPhone and iPod touch in search of malware or files that indicate that exploits have compromised the devices.
