The Digital Lifestyle Goes Green

Oct 04, 2008 - The Digital Lifestyle, an online video network of Apple-related videos and shows, is announcing it is going green for all video production. The website and video production elements have changed, or will be changing, shortly to minimize environmental impact. All lighting for studio shoots will be lit by fluorescent lights, and studio power will be purchased through a wind power exchange plan.

Apple News Site Challlenges Steve Jobs to China Factory Visit

Aug 05, 2008 - Ryan Ritchey, the producer of The Digital Lifestyle, today posted a blog entry challenging Apple CEO Steve Jobs to an iPhone factory visit in China. In 2006, Apple investigated wrongdoing at a Foxconn location due to press reports of inhumane conditions. Apple's own report found overtime violations and some questionable living quarters.

Live Video Coverage of iPhone Launch, Viewers Encouraged to Participate

Jul 09, 2008 - The Digital Lifestyle is announcing live video coverage of the Apple iPhone launch, beginning at 7AM ET on Friday, July 11th. However, the site is looking for iPhone fans to ring in the new product before, during, and after their coverage of the U.S. launch. The coverage will be co-hosted by Ritchey and former Mac Genius Jamie DeGrazio.

Live Video coverage of WWDC Keynote

May 30, 2008 - The Digital Lifestyle will be providing live coverage before, during, and after Steve Jobs' keynote address at Apple's Worldwide Developer's Conference, Monday June 9th. Live video coverage will begin at noon ET / 9AM PT, one hour before the scheduled start of the Keynote. Throughout the Keynote, The Digital Lifestyle will summarize and comment on the latest details from blogs across the internet.

Video reviews of all iPod games now available

May 04, 2008 - The Digital Lifestyle today launched a new page featuring quick (one minute or less) independent video reviews of all of the currently available iPod games from the iTunes music store. The reviews mark a branching out into portable gaming for the site. The Digital Lifestyle will also review as many iPhone games and applications as possible.

Apple Switcher Ellen Feiss' film to air online

Apr 16, 2008 - TheDigitalLifestyle will be doing a one-time only broadcast of the film "Bed & Breakfast, featuring Ellen Feiss of Apple's "Switch" campaign. Viewers will be able to chat about the film as they watch it. The film will be broadcast Monday, April 21, at 9:30PM ET / 6:30PM PT.
