[prMac.com] Dubai, UAE - Shufflegazine, Apple lifestyle magazine for the Middle East, today announced the immediate availability of an application for iPhone and iPod touch that gives readers full access to the magazine on their favorite mobile device. With the app, developed by Pixel Mags, readers can download individual issues of the magazine, including back issues, or subscribe to automatically receive future issues when they're published. The magazine will be available for iPhone on the same day the print issue comes out each month. Readers can also search for text and save bookmarks for pages for easy retrieval later.
The app is available in the UAE and US iTunes AppStores for $0.99. Individual issues are $2.99 and a 12-month subscription is $19.99. Both the price for an individual issue and the subscription represent a discount compared to the print issue.
Magnus Nystedt, Managing Editor of Shufflegazine said "We're excited to be among the first, if not the first, in the Middle East to provide this service to our readers. This app is a great compliment to what we already do and represents yet one more way that readers can enjoy our unique content."
The iPhone app represents Shufflegazine's first venture into this new medium. "This is only the beginning. As we continue to look at new and innovative ways to bring our content to our readers, we'll work with Pixel Mags and others to expand what we do," Nystedt said.
