Disneyland iPhone App Has Photos of Park Features Rarely Seen by Guests

March 26, 2010 in Travel (E)

[prMac.com] Portland, Oregon - TimeStream Software's newly upgraded "Disneyland Park Notescast(R)" iPhone App provides a wealth of interactive in-depth information and, for the first time, over 300 colorful photos, a small set of which are of park features off limits to Guests and required special permission to photograph.

"My favorite bonus photo is of the original small bronze plaque on the boiler of the E.P. Ripley steam engine containing the names of Walt Disney and Roger Broggie, along with the date of 1955." said Mike Westby of TimeStream Software. "It really takes you back to opening day, but Guests never get to see this, as the engine always pulls into a restricted area whenever it comes into the station. I'm glad we could include it."

Another of the bonus photos is a special photo of the Haunted Mansion exterior. Shot after Disneyland closed, it features special lighting which is unavailable during park hours. Combined with a foreboding fence in the foreground, it gives Guests a rare and unique view of this haunting attraction.
