April 1, 2010 in Games (E)

[] Seattle, Washington - Makeshift Games has announced that Depict HD will be available with the launch of the iPad. Depict HD brings the beloved Depict to the iPad platform; uniting iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch users for multiplayer drawing action.

Depict HD offers the same great gameplay as Depict, with a few small differences. In Depict HD, there are no in-app purchases. Instead, Depict HD will be available for $1.99 and all of the add-ons come standard. In addition, all future updates and features will be offered to Depict HD owners for free. Lastly, all of the OpenFeint features will be included in the first update, once OpenFeint releases the iPad version of their SDK.

Depict has been enjoyed by almost 100 thousand players world-wide and has been featured by Apple in the US, UK, and other countries. We can't wait to see it how it's received on the iPad, a device made for drawing.

What people are saying about Depict:
"At its roots, Depict is a simple online Pictionary game for your iDevice. But that's just the roots. You will have to dig through layers and layers of loving 8-bit polish and style to find those roots. Everything about Depict is what I expect from top-tier iPhone developers... To put it simply, Depict is my new Doodle Jump." (4.5 stars) - Matt Dunn -

"Well-designed, simple, often hilarious. An eight-bit wonder of ingenuity!" - (5 stars) - Lipbone

"I can't believe how much time I've spent playing Depict, it's really great. The first time I installed it, I completely ignored all my other games for a week. I love pixel style graphics, easy to use UI and ability to flag (good or bad) other players and their drawings!" - (5 stars) LoobyLibby

Device Requirements:
* iPad 3.2

Pricing and Availability:
Apple has approved Depict HD and it will be available along side the release of the iPad. Depict HD 1.0 will be priced at $1.99, available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category.
