[prMac.com] Amsterdam, Netherlands - DEVART has released FaceMix 1.01 for iPhone and iPod touch. With Face Mix Memory you can use pictures from your photo library on the iPhone or take new pictures. The faces on these pictures are shuffled to form a completely new face, that you have to remember and rebuild. Moving around like a detective and reconstructing these strange new faces is not as easy as you think.
While making you wonder what it is in a face that you pay attention to and what parts of it you remember best, you are improving your short term memory skills and attention span at the same time. Apart from the game mode it can be interesting to just mix parts of the faces and watch the amazing changes as result of just replacing a mouth. So moving between a game and a very entertaining gadget it's fun and challenging for all ages!
The app uses the iPhone photo and camera features extremely well. For example, it's possible to use pictures from the photo library or take new pictures and then select three faces to play with. In addition the interface is very intuitive and easy to learn. The makers of this game, DEVART have published another version of FaceMix Memory before on the Dutch website neurokids.nl. A site that aims to make brain science understandable for kids. The possibility to make and use your own pictures is the added value for the iPhone and iPod touch.
