To celebrate the international launch of iPad, independent iPhone developer Chris Mayer has announced that Brain App XL 1.0 will be available for a limited time at 33% off the original price. A new Brain Exercise has been added to v1.1 - 'Missing Signs'.
In 'Missing Signs' the user is given a math problem, consisting of two numbers and an answer, the challenge is to figure out if the numbers have been added, subtracted, or multiplied. This brain exercise focuses on logic as well as math skills and rapid responses, a time limit of 60 seconds is applied to answer as many math problems as possible.
Other Brain Exercises in Brain App XL also test hand-eye coordination and focus on improving math skills. Users are given a score known as their 'Brain App IQ', based on ability over all brain exercises. There's a worldwide leaderboard accessible from within the game that allows users from across the globe to compete with each other - on both iPad and iPhone.
The Brain App franchise launched in February 2010 and now has over 12,000 users worldwide.
