[prMac.com] Nottingham, United Kingdom - Independent developer Steven Fernandez has released HTML5 Reference 1.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. HTML5 Reference is constantly updated and it's a Must Have for anyone who has anything to do with the internet. It's especially handy for Web Developers who want a full pocket reference at hand which is always up to date.
It also contains example codes for each element and requires no internet connection so it's always at hand wherever you are. So if you are a Web Developer who needs a HTML5 Reference or just want to learn HTML 5, this is the app for you. Version 1.2 contains code examples for each HTML5 Element, is iOS 4 tested and compatible.
HTML5 is currently being developed as the next major revision of HTML (HyperText Markup Language), the core markup language of the World Wide Web. HTML5 is the proposed next standard for HTML 4.01, XHTML 1.0 and DOM Level 2 HTML. It aims to reduce the need for proprietary plug-in-based rich internet application (RIA) technologies such as Adobe Flash, Sumisho Curl Surge RTE and Microsoft Silverlight. As of March 2009 in common usage, HTML5 may also refer to the additional use of CSS3, as both technologies are under development in parallel.
