[prMac.com] Portland, Oregon - Coradine Aviation Systems has released LogTen Pro 5.5, a major update to its logbook for Mac OS X. The update, free for current LogTen Pro 5 users, will be of particular interest to commercial and business pilots with enhanced tracking features, enabling them to track time in the air and on the ground as well as expenses incurred for a whole trip, rather than flight by flight.
LogTen Pro Mac's new Trips tool gives Airline and Business pilots the flexibility and control they were looking for to keep track of their time and pay whether in the air or on the ground. Pilots can now assign multiple flights to a single 'Trip', they can input a per diem rate for flights as well as all other types of duty including Airport reserve, Business, Commute, Deadhead, Home reserve, Reposition , etc., and they can also easily keep track of any expenses incurred on the trip.
Noah Lieberman, Founder and CEO of Coradine said, "LogTen Pro Mac marks another step forward for pilots using the Apple platform to log their time. With the all new "Trips" tool to organize and manage flight time, rest time, per diems and expenses, LogTen Pro is so much more than a flight logbook."
Coradine has also added over 50 more airlines to the popular "schedule importer" function which enables pilots to import their flight schedules directly into LogTen Pro, saving a huge amount of data entry time. This includes support for the AIMS scheduling system as well as importing from ICS files and doubles the number of airlines supported by the functionality to over 100 worldwide. Pilots can now share their logbooks online by publishing them direct from LogTen Pro Mac to Coradine's online logbook sharing site. Auto-enter and 'picker' enhancements make entering data even faster.
